About the Facilitator: Sara Pantaleo

Sara Pantaleo is a respected business leader, advisor, and advocate for people-first leadership. Starting her career in IT, Sara went on to play a pivotal role in transforming La Porchetta from a 12-restaurant family business into Australia’s largest franchised à la carte restaurant group. Her leadership extended beyond growth focusing on building strong teams, investing in people, and creating a collaborative culture that could sustain and scale.

Driven by purpose, Sara co-founded the Moira Kelly Creating Hope Foundation and Affari SP, a consulting firm that supports small businesses through a circular economy and ESG mindset. She has served on national boards including the Franchise Council of Australia and the Family Business Association, and continues to contribute to organisations focused on financial wellbeing, community development, and healthcare.
Recognised as National Franchise Woman of the Year (2010), Sara is a role model for women in business, particularly CALD women. Her work as a mentor and advocate reflects her belief that success and social impact should go hand in hand.
Her guiding principle is simple and powerful: People First.
